The Spiderwick Chroniles Book 1

I finished The Spiderwick Chronicles Book 1 last night! In the book Mallery, Simon, and Jared Grace move to a new house in the country with their Mother Helen Grace after their father leaves. Shortly after ariving Jared the youngest of the three children started heraing things in the wall and gets his brother and sister to go up the dumbwaiter into the atic. In order to do that they had to throw out all the strange things in the dumb waiter. Like the head of a doll, their Mother's car keys, Mallery's fencing medal, cockroaches strung up on some thin string, and some random ripped up peices of paper. When Jared went upstairs he found a book with a note that read "WARNING Do not dare to read this book, For if you take one fateful look, You parter at your life's expense, And face a deadly concequence." He read the book and found horrible things happenning and finds out that when a Brownie gets mad it turns into a boggart and does bad things. And later sees that it kept his brother's mice as pets.
